TIER III Standard

Next to the redundant UPS or generator, difference secondary electricity grid line is required. However, computer equipment is usually powered by a single utility line. Each redundant capacity element or electricity distribution line must be removable from the system without causing a malfunction in the computer hardware or requiring them to shut down. Planned data center infrastructure maintenance should be possible without the need to shut down the system by activating spare capacity elements or the second distribution line. In order to maintain fault sensitivity between the critical load and the UPS, computer equipment must have dual electrical inputs.
Generally, companies prefer Tier 3 to keep jobs that require high availability. These companies have agreed to cover the maintenance costs in case of an outage. In addition, most of the companies establish Tier 3 structures that will be upgraded to Tier 4.
